| We understand that our customers and other web site visitors are concerned about the privacy of their information. With this understanding, we are committed to your right to privacy. We have established the following policies and procedures and make every effort to ensure your personal and financial information is secure.
What information do we collect from our web site visitors?
American Eagle
collects personally identifiable information you voluntarily provide in order to process your loan application. We collect no personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily submit it to us. Personally identifiable information includes, but is not limited to, first and last name, current address, email address, phone number, social security number, and any other information that itself identifies or when tied to the above information, may identify you as a specific individual. We also may have to collect certain demographic and financial information (marital status, monthly income and debt, etc.).
You do not have to provide all information we request on the on-line application in order to submit your application. However, eventually you will have to give us any missing information required in order to process your loan. The remainder of the information we require can be submitted in a number of convenient and secure ways (fax, phone, mail, or even in person).
We collect the email address of our visitors only when it is voluntarily and knowingly submitted. If you supply us with your email address on-line, we may send periodic correspondence via email regarding our services. You can always reply to any email we send requesting that you be removed from our list and we will cease email correspondence immediately. We will not share your email address with anyone.
Other than information you voluntarily provide, we collect no information from you other than what our web server automatically collects, which is:
1. Your internet service provider
2. Your IP address
3. The sites you connect from and the browser you use.
We use this information to learn better how to serve our web site visitors. We generate web site traffic reports, and use them to perform needed maintenance to the site, in order to add value to your on-line experience.
Do we share or sell any information to outside parties?
We will never sell any of the information you voluntarily provide to any source. However, we will have to share some of the information with certain third parties involved in processing your loan. We only share your information when it is required in order to complete your loan process. In general, to process your loan, we work with a credit bureau, an appraisal company, an underwriter, your title company, a mortgage insurance company, and a flood insurance company. These third parties only receive the information necessary to complete their respective service.
While processing your loan, we will have to verify the income and employment information that you provide. This may require us to contact your employer or your bank (financial institution) to discuss your reported information and obtain verification. Also we, like all mortgage companies, must report certain information to government and regulatory agencies. However, this information is not personally identifiable information.
How is your information secured?

that allows you to verify American Eagle

To ensure the security of all your information both personally identifiable and otherwise, we use proven Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to encrypt the information before it is transmitted over the Internet. So in the very unlikely case that a third party would intercept a transmission, all information transmitted between our sever and your browser is encrypted and secure and unreadable to undesired parties.
Your information is not permanently stored on our web server. The information only resides on the web server while you are viewing it. It is permanently stored on our secured corporate computer systems. Our corporate computer systems and networks use proven security measures to ensure the security of the data we process and store.
